First Full Winter

Winter 2005/2006 was my first full winter experience. It was also the coldest and longest one I had so far. For newbies in winters, the good part about is was that there was lots and lots of snow! It brings back good memories - being amazed at how white the surroundings could be (makes you sing 'walking in the winter wonderland'), making and throwing snowballs, Anne making her first snow bear, and the list goes on...

Settling In

Alte Poststrasse 134/16, 8020 Graz. That was our address. When our shippment from the Phillippines came at the end of December 2005, we immediately arranged the apartment so that it would look more like a home. That was how it looked like after we finished unpacking everything. It was so simple, but we had the basic necessities, and that was all that mattered.

Beauty and the Bridge

And... I'm... back! This time for real and for long, hopefully. Same old concept - photoblogging.

Although I stopped actively and seriously photoblogging in late 2005 (I guess due to the loss of motivation for it when I moved to Austria), I never did stop taking photos. After this initial post, I'd like to take this blog on a photographic journey showing glimpses from my past almost 4 years until now.

First, let me say that the photo above tells which city I am right now. I took this photo while on a ferry ride from Darling Harbour to Circular Quay. How could I resist a close shot of the Harbour Bridge with the Sydney Opera House in the background?
